ReflexPod uses illuminated pods as interactive training targets. A typical exercise starts with the pods in their ready state. One or more targets can then activate depending on the selected training mode.
The athlete reacts to the visual signal, moves toward the active target and interacts with it. The system then continues according to the selected training sequence.
No. The athlete does not need to hit, punch, kick or strike the pod. Depending on the selected sensor mode and exercise, the athlete can interact with the active pod using a quick, controlled touch.
No. The intended interaction is a light touch rather than a forceful press. The athlete should make a quick and controlled contact without pushing the pod down or moving it.
Yes. Depending on the exercise, ReflexPod can be used for hand-touch exercises, foot-touch exercises, lateral movement, change-of-direction drills and multi-directional reaction training.

Strong sunlight and intense ambient light can affect infrared detection. ReflexPod is designed with multiple sensor modes so users can adapt the system to different environments.
If strong sunlight affects IR detection, users can switch to Touch Sensor mode or use Touch + IR, depending on the required training setup.
In very strong sunlight, Touch Sensor mode can be used when direct touch detection is preferred.
